
The Alan Turing Institute AI & Arts Group → is a multi-disciplinary consortium, encompassing multiple stakeholders drawn from academia to cultural heritage institutions, enterprise, the creative industries and policy makers.
The group is motivated by the fact that we are currently experiencing a digital revolution driven by the constantly increasing amount of data in our world and rapid advances in artificial intelligence. The combined knowledge and experiences of our members and today’s computational methods enable us to explore new tools to investigate emerging large multi-dimensional datasets and creative practices; to understand how data science and the arts influence one another; and to create new knowledge driving forward research at the interface between AI, data science and the arts. Open Forum & Webinar Programme (2024)
The Alan Turing Institute AI & Arts Group is re-starting its webinar series, alongside open forum sessions to facilitate ideas, collaborations and dialogue cross the Group’s membership. The Webinars take advantage of the online space, enabling a variety of key speakers to present on research, projects and methodologies pertinent to the Group’s diverse membership, and to allow for live, interactive exchange. The Open Forum sessions will offer hybrid online/in-person gatherings to foster informal debates, discussions and critical readings.
